Submissions

Show us you wrote it.

Two things are not negotiable. You wrote the lyrics. And you can show us the arrangement is yours.

The lyrics

Send the lyric sheet, written by you. Not a link to a streaming page.

The arrangement

Send something that shows the song was built by you. Any one of these does it:

  • A work tape or voice memo from before the final production. A phone recording is fine.
  • A screenshot of your session.
  • A written breakdown of the structure, what each section is doing and why it moves where it moves.
  • A short video walking us through the song.

We are not asking for polish. A rough phone recording of you working the song out tells us more than a finished master does.

We ask about tools openly. A label that hides that question has something to hide. We have a standard instead.

What happens to what you send

You keep everything. Sending us a song gives GOSH Records no ownership of it and no rights in it. Your lyrics, your composition, your recording and your masters stay yours, in full.

We ask for one narrow permission and nothing beyond it: to receive your submission, listen to it, read it and discuss it internally while we decide whether we want to work with you. That permission covers nothing else. We will not release it, perform it, publish it, license it, use it in marketing, or train any model on it, and we will not share it outside the people reviewing it.

If we want to sign you, rights are a separate conversation and a separate signed agreement. Nothing on this page and nothing in this form moves anything to us.

If we pass, we delete your submission within 90 days. You can ask us to delete it sooner, at any time, by writing to music@gosh-records.com. We will do it and confirm it.

Two things we should be straight about. We hear a lot of music, and we may already be working on something that resembles what you send, so submitting does not put us under an obligation and does not stop us developing our own material. And send only work you control. By submitting, you are confirming you wrote the lyrics, you arranged the song, and nobody else’s permission is needed for us to hear it.

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
